Top 10 Hottest Rappers in the Game…

My Homeboy Marchaz M. weighed in on his ranking of the hottest rappers of 09 (taken from MTV’s nominees) after I gave my opinion:

“Eventhough Jay isn’t well-liked by America’s youth…is he hot?…the answer is yes. Because of that, I think this will be the first one of these lists that they’ve done in a while in which Wayne wont be in the top 2, bcuz if it is strictly who has been the hottest in 2009 then 1. Drake, 2. Jay, 3. Wayne, 4. Kanye…I’d be willing to bet that’s your top 4. After that I’m confused, because although Fab is one of my favs…I don’t think he’ll be on the list. I don’t think Em should be in the top 10, but he’s a 100% lock to be in there..which means Roth won’t be lol. So I will go with 5. Gucci, 6. Soulja, 7. Em, 8. Cudi, 9. T.I., and 10 will go to Rick Ross or Plies….only because Plies is hot right now, and Ross, credibility issues and all, had tremendous buzz earlier this year.”

So MTV’s top 10 hottest rappers in the game is back again this year & since I love ranking rappers my list goes something like this. 10 Fab9 TI8 Eminem7 Gucci6 Cudi5 Soulja Boy4 Jay-Z3 Kanye2 Lil Wayne1 Drake Drake’s really green but he stays on people’s lips and the radio more than anybody else so I had to give him the no. 1. Wayne and Kanye are self explanatory. Jay-Z is turning 40 this year and is still relevant (whether people like him or not they talk about him).  That’s amazing because historically hip hop disposes of the old pretty quickly. Soulja Boy stays in the clubs and the kids ain’t givin up on him yet. Gucci - I don’t know if this is an Atlanta thing but the dude is major out here. Everybody under 21 seems to love him.  I can only tolerate him as a feature. Em went platinum.  What’s hotter than that…other than Mariah beef? I just like TI I just gave the 10 spot to Fab because I didn’t feel like giving it to Asher Roth.  Roth gets alot of press but I don’t hear alot of people talking bout his music  It just seems like the media wants him to be hotter than he is.  Maybe next album. Hmm, maybe I shoulda gave the 10 spot to Budden Who’s your pick for the hottest 5?

Reality Strikes!

It’s official. What I’ve been denying since the beginning of the year can no longer be overlooked. I’ve developed a lil pot belly. Soon I’ll look like those skinny, bulging gut kids on the postcards and people will start giving me money whenever they see me looking tattered by the pool. I must do something.
