Man, I danced my ass off tonight like I haven’t done in ages. No seriously, I cannot remember the last time I danced from the moment I stepped in the club to the very last minutes before I left. Dancing like no one cares is so cathartic and everyone around you catches the bug too. It felt so good. It’s great to have friends that know how to really let every and anything go while on the dance floor. Shout out to Hettsworth. We shut that mother down! Whoever was on the turntables at MJQ KILT it tonight. It was like he played my Itunes party playilst and then added all the songs I’ve been meaning to download and a couple I should. Well, it didn’t really matter what he played tonight cuz I just wanted to let loose! And I did, I let eveything out that needed to be let out tonight. It sounds corny but dancing like no one’s there is so euphoric to me. It raises my consciousness almost like a form of worship. The lights came on and everybody froze but the DJ was still rockin it so we kept dancing. He ended on Nirvana, Smells like Team Spirit and I’ve never seen a large group of people lose their shit to something like that before, lol. It was really stupid but so much fun. Anyway, I had to get that off my chest. My legs feel like logs, I am soaked to the bone, I’ve lost my voice and I don’t know how I”m going to get up or perform at WEstfest tomorrow at 12. I’m so tired. If anyone’s awake feel free to give me a wake up call around 11:30 cuz I could sleep til next Sunday.
