Aw man, 40 Acres and A Stool is bringing our unique brand of hilarity to Laughing Skull Lounge tomorrow! Being 3 states away keeps me from making it but it doesn’t keep me from being excited. Heat! In the words of my girl Joyelle, “Come be a part of the first all African-American show at Atlanta’s own Laughing Skull Lounge (insert your own joke here).” So Atlanta, April 19th, 8 pm this is where you need to be.

I’m not a fan of karaoke.  But last Wed after a few drinks I threw away my inhibitions and joined in on a few songs with some friends at Midtown Tavern.  It was an evening of surly comedians causing a ruckus until we were kicked out. Much fun and my boy, Justin Morgan (check his tumblr) got it all on tape.  Thankfully he just made a montage so you can’t hear us sing (or rap).  Shout out to another featured tumblr-er (what do we call ourselves?) in the mix, Andrew Wright 

Tonight I sat in on the Laughing Skull Lounge podcast with Maria Bamford and took shots with Brian Regan.  It was def a good night in Atlanta Comedy. Alot of great shows comin up this week. Tomorrow aka Monday, January 17, is the Roast of Dan Weeks.  Dan’s a good buddy of mine and we’ll have a blast slandering his name at Smith’s Olde Bar, 7:30. Two shows Tuesday, the 18th. First at 8 I’ll be at the Basement Theater for the International House of Punchlines show hosted by Reza Asgari And later on that night around 10:30ish I’ll be featuring at the Limerick Junction Comedy Show in Virginia Highlands. The main event I’m very excited about is the show my crew, 40 Acres And A Stool, is putting together, also at the Basement Theater, on Thursday, January 20.  It’ll be our 1st full show all together and I’m pretty excited.   Come on through there’s plenty of laughter and good times to go around.
